Christmas: Goodies, Family, Presents

FYI: So since Josh and I were just recently married (about a month ago) I think the next "cliche" step is to create a blog about our newlywed life, so here I am! I'm new to the whole blogging thing so just a heads up if the blog is lame at first. I'm pretty tech savvy but this html stuff is out of my league!

Christmas. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year!! I love the smell of fresh pine trees (from a candle, that is), giving gifts to family and friends to see the reaction on their faces, eating so many sweets that I physically can't eat anymore, and drinking hot chocolate on cold blizzard-y days! Christmas this year was different from what I am used to because now that I'm married "Santa" no longer comes to visit. Instead, I had a wonderful time spending my favorite holiday with my husband and being able to start our own Christmas traditions that we hope will be carried on for generations.
During the month of December I would give Josh random hints here and there of things I would like for Christmas hoping he would surprise me with something. I decided I didn't need any clothes so I told him things such as perfume, shoes, I Pod adapter for my car, and so forth. When I would ask what he wanted he would say, "I don't need anything." (Typical boy right)? I would try to push at least something out of him but he clearly said there is nothing he wanted or needed. I took the easy route and just bought him some clothes in which he seemed to like them all.

Christmas Day. Josh seemed to like his goggles the most

I ended up with clothes. Surprise, surprise!
Josh looks like one happy camper

Hailyn was so careful opening each of her presents

She got this adorable vest from Mandee and she thought it was a coat. She was waiting at the door to go outside

Christmas dinner at the Wilson residence. Cort, Alex and Josh happened to all be wearing plaid. Precious!
